Let me present myself: John, main manager for a computer company. Our company are doing jobs related to software programming. Our main projects are all high-end ones. Example: the last big contract we had was for some surveillance software to be used by the city. We spent over 1 year polishing the software. Many hours were spent on it. Now we are working on smaller jobs.

My staff has five programmers. They are all well versed in computer programming. We do offer projects for Linux, Windows and Mac. Two of my programmers are part-time students and I usually made them work on the weekend. They are also the ones doing overtime the evenings. Our current project is related to some portal services. The customer wants a full portal with plenty of choices. Since we started, there have been lots of modifications. This customer is very picky.

In our workplace, only the best computers are used. We have top notch printers and office equipments too. All our programmers are using the iPAQ 4155. This pocket tool is great to keep notes about the current tasks and the project schedule. To communicate between ourselves is very easy with this little gadget. Everyday, my programmers had to be updated on any project changes. Let’s say one of them becomes sick…. well, the others need to be fully working as soon as possible without delay.

It did happen last year. My main programmer had to stay home for a whole two weeks. We were simply too tight on the schedule to make everything up to date. Thankfully, the employee was able to give proper guidance. Such thing rarely happens. Everything is very well documented. That day, we simply had no time to check back everything. The customer was waiting and we were sweating. Since then I made sure everyone is up to date about the project and all the details are clearly understood.

My company has been in business since 5 years so far. We grew up slowly and gained good fame for our quick deliverance. We have regular customers. I do spend lots of time with them reviewing the specifications and a lot more. The office is located in the downtown near the business district. It is a nice working place. I love my job a lot !

When you see a famous logo you know it. There’s a simplicity of design to it, it is clear and eye catching and attractive. These logos make you remember a company and a product the moment you see them.

It seems like a logo is just a simple thing, so how hard can they be to come up with? Surprisingly, it’s quite hard to establish a logo in the public perception. It generally takes years of effort and millions of dollars to get the public to recognize and associate a logo correctly.

There are many many products and brands out there. Only a few of these really stand out and are memorable. When you have a famous logo, it’s immediately recognizable and doesn’t rely on language or region for recognition.

Think of a Pepsi bottle or can. That red and blue ball is instantly recognizable by people all over the world, even if the word is printed in a different language.

Ideally you can identify a logo without having to see the name of the company or product. A well branded and successful logo has this level of recognition.

When a logo is designed, a great deal of planning goes into this. Logos are planned to precisely reflect the name of the brand and the nature of the company. It should resonate with customers of all age groups.

In fact, companies pay professionals to design these logos for them – logo design alone costs thousands of dollars. A catchy logo that is likely to be a success will usually use a stylish font and vibrant colors.

Famous logos have high visual impact. They have a feel of the qualities of the product, and also somehow reflect the corporate philosophy.

Sales promotion is a crucial activity for businesses. One effective means for sales promotion is to distribute free product samples. When consumers are given a free full- or trial-sized product, they are more likely to try the product and decide the like it and want to purchase it.

There are two general periods when free samples are distributed. The first is when there is a launch of a new product. The second is when a company wants to increase their market share for an already established product. There are plenty of different ways to distribute products to people.

One method is called direct mail sampling. When this method is used, free samples of a product are mailed directly to consumers’ homes. The area where mailings are targeted are based on demographics. If sampling to the masses is preferred, newspaper distribution can be used.

Free product sample delivery can also be managed door-to-door. In this manner, people bring samples out directly to individuals’ homes. This is often used when the cost for direct mailing or packaging is too high, or when tighter targeting is needed or there is only limited lead time.

Sometimes there are sample packs of one product packaged along with another item that is for sale. This method is often used in a high traffic area like a theater or a mall.

The most common means for sample distribution is in-store sampling. This is very simple. What happens in in-store sampling is that shoppers at a store are given free product samples.

Because of this, they often then will make impulse purchases of this line. In fact, this boosts business so much that many companies will permit consumers to request samples via the Internet.

There are limited stocks of samples for free giveaways. Consumers who hope to get samples of products with coupons or via Internet request should try to do so as early as possible.

Product sampling is a very effective way to market a product. Samples are distributed when advertising alone does not have the desired effect, and distribution costs are not prohibitive.

Does your small business have a printer so you can print out the documents you need from your computer? If not, you are likely wasting time and money. Whether you need to print out just a few pages for personal use or enough documents to use at a company meeting, it’s a pain not having a printer right there to use. It also costs more to have a print run done or to do pay per page.

If you check what is on the market these days you will find many different models and makes of printers. You can obtain any printer, of any brand, if you look. The most commonly used types are: inkjet, plotter, laser, and thermal printers.

If you have just a basic need for printing and don’t print much volume or all that frequently, an inkjet printer is a good option. These are easy to install and are simple to use for most people. A laser printer is good for heavier printing demands. You can get laser printers that are monochrome, or that will print in color.

Some companies find that a plotter printer would be best for them, but these are very expensive machines. Renting a plotter is almost always smarter than purchasing. You can rent a plotter printer for either short- or long-term use.

Computer printer rentals are easy to find. You can look in stores or rental companies that are local, or you can go online to see who offers printer rental.

In fact, you may do better online than you will locally. When you look to rent locally you will be limited to what stock is available. If you go online, you are not limited in this way and can search for the best machine for your use at the best price.

Many businesses have fluctuating needs and variable demands facing them. Because of this, computer printer rental sites offer differing terms. You can rent a computer for a single day, or for as long as 2 or 3 years.

Cost for rental will vary of course, based on the brand and model, the type of printer, and how long you are renting for. Generally, renting makes more sense in the short term. Long term rentals are usually more expensive than purchasing the printer.

You can really enhance the capabilities of your small business and save yourself both time and money if you rent your printer. You get the latest in print technology, just how and when you need it.
