Chemical pallets are now available in the Untied States and in Canada from Compliance Packaging International Ltd. CPI offers used chemical pallets and is also licensed to manufacture new chemical pallets under its license CP-984 for companies that want to reduce pallet costs.

The chemical pallet designs were first created by European chemical and plastics companies to standardize pallet sizes.

Today chemical pallets are used in many industries for the value of having harmonized sizes and standards as well as having a returnable exchange value in Europe at their end of life in the supply chain.

Some users refer to chemical pallets as CPs or CP Pallets. Chemical pallets come in nine different design types and sizes.

The most common chemical pallets used by North American industry, listed in order of most common to least common are the CP3, CP1, CP2, CP6, CP9, and CP8 pallets.

Companies choose to use different chemical pallets based first upon their packaging types including supersacks, steel drums, bags or boxes. Chemical companies as well as other companies must also consider their handling requirements to decide upon which chemical pallet to use for their needs. For example, will the pallets be floor stacked or racked?

The Chemical Pallet 1 (CP1) and Chemical Pallet 6 (CP6) are pallets primarily used with sacks and boxes of any type.

Chemical Pallet type 2 was designed to replace the europallet. American exporters sometime substitute this pallet type for the EUR Pallets.

When transporting super sacks and large drums, users can choose between the CP 3 and CP 9.

The Chemical Pallet 8 is only meant to move super sacks.

Chemical pallets are offered nationwide by Compliance Packaging International Ltd. CPI sells used chemical pallets and is a manufacturer of new chemical pallets under its license CP-984.

The chemical pallet designs were first created by European chemical and plastics companies to standardize pallet sizes.

Today chemical pallets are used in many industries and have a returnable exchange value in Europe at their end of life in the supply chain.

Chemical pallets, also known as CP-Pallets or CPs come in nine different sizes and are designated CP-1, CP-2, CP-3, CP-4, CP-5, CP-6, CP-7, CP-8 and CP-9.

In the United States and Canada the chemical pallet types 1 and 3 are the most widely used. Other less common chemical pallet types found in North America include the CP 6, as well as the CP 9, and CP 8. The other chemical pallet designs are rarely if ever seen in the Americas.

Companies choose to use different chemical pallets based first upon their packaging types including supersacks, steel drums, bags or boxes. Chemical companies and others must also consider their handling requirements to decide upon which chemical pallet to use. For example, will the pallets be floor stacked or racked?

If a company is transporting sacks or boxes of any kind, they should consider type 1 or 6 chemical pallets.

Chemical Pallet 2 was designed to replace the euro pallet. This pallet is sometimes used in North America in place of the euro pallet.

CP 3 and CP 9 pallets were designed to transport super sacks and large drums.

Supersacks are generally the only packaging type that companies ship on CP 8 pallets.
