Author: If I make it through the initial road test on sunday, I will go through the 3 day orientation for US Xpress and become a team driver for the first initial 6 months of driving before being given my own truck. It was either US Xpress or Swift, and Swift couldn’t do anything with me until late January to early February. So, here goes nothing!

Just finished Week 9, completed the trucking program and received my certificate, and went to the DMV on Nov. 9th and got my Class A CDL on the first try! Currently looking for jobs. If anybody knows anything, please don’t hesitate to tell me!

Just finished Week 8 of my training. Had a great time driving at night. Felt good to do something new, something exciting. It wouldn’t have been so bad if we would have had a nice truck, but both of our trucks on both nights had seats that were bolted to the frames, so I got my back beat up pretty bad both nights because I was always the last to drive at 10:30 to 12:30 for some reason. Oh well. On to our final week, and hopefully the DMV testing!
