Nitto Tire Announces Vehicles and Mobile Feed For 2010 SEMA Show
Cypress, CA (PRWEB) November 2, 2010
Nitto’s booth at the 2010 SEMA show will feature both sought-after vehicles and Nitto’s latest digital marketing efforts. Included in the vehicle lineup are four must-see cars developed by some of the most sought-after performance builders in the industry: a 2010 Mustang transplanted with the iconic 5.0L engine, a brand-new Ferrari 458 Italia, a 2010 Camaro SS/RS and a street-tuned 2011 Ford F-250. All four are equipped with Nitto’s performance tires, each selected to enhance the performance of the vehicles. Visit Nitto’s booth (#40035) on the first floor of South Hall. If you won’t be at the show, you can check out live updates on Nitto’s mobile website m.nittotire.com. The SEMA-exclusive section of the site will feature each project car as well as images of the Nitto booth and other show events. This site will be promoted on a large outdoor billboard where viewers can use their smartphones to snap a specialized Microsoft tag to link directly to the content.
Renowned performance tuner, Steeda Autosports, created a flagship Mustang that exemplifies both Steeda’s street performance prowess and its attention to stylistic detail. Steeda first replaced the stock motor with an iconic 5.0L engine that Ford reintroduced into its factory lineup for 2011. Other under-the-hood modifications include a supercharger and custom engine calibration, which help bring the final power numbers to 690 hp and 645 lb-ft of torque. With all this horsepower, Steeda needed a way to transfer it to the ground. A Steeda G-trac suspension kit and Nitto’s NT05 max performance tires, sized 275/35ZR20 in the front and 315/35ZR20 in the rear, were up to the challenge. Together they provide enhanced handling and performance. Complementing these performance upgrades is a fully redesigned interior, including leather bucket seats, Alcantara steering wheel and even a leather-wrapped roll cage create a luxurious and comfortable cabin.
Alongside the Steeda Mustang, is the latest and greatest offering from Ferrari: the 458 Italia. Introduced in 2010 to replace the F430, the 458 boasts a V8 engine capable of producing 570 bhp and a lightning-fast top speed of 202 mph. Equally impressive is its ability to reach 62 mph in just 3.35 seconds. Getting this power to the ground is a double wishbone front suspension, multi-link rear suspension, electronic differential, and the F1-Trac traction control system. The finishing touches include 20-inch HRE P40S Monoblok wheels wrapped in Nitto’s luxury performance tire, the Invo, sized 245/35ZR20 in front and 295/35ZR20 in the rear. The Invo provides a balance of performance, ride comfort and quietness that is well-suited to the Ferrari 458. With only a handful on display at SEMA, this vehicle is a must-see.
Rounding out Nitto’s booth are a 2010 Camaro SS/RS designed by American Racing and a 2011 Ford F-250 designed by Monarchy Motors. The Camaro’s LS3 V8 engine was given a power boost with an Edelbrock supercharger and Magnaflow exhaust system to help produce 600 hp. Complementing the beefed-up engine are body modifications from Bell’s Autosports and an amply appointed leather interior with an Alcantara suede dash. Rounding out the package are 22-inch American Racing wheels wrapped in Nitto’s luxury performance tire, the Invo. The 2011 Ford F-250 is a purpose-built street truck. To accommodate large 37” overall diameter Trail Grappler M/Ts, Monarchy Motors added a 7” lift from Icon Vehicle Dynamics. The Trail Grappler is a dual-purpose street and off-road tire that is both aggressive and quiet. In addition to the suspension modifications, the F250 features engine upgrades like an MBRP exhaust, Volant cold-air intake and a bevy of Edge electronic performance products.
To see the vehicles and their specifications, stop by the Nitto booth (40035) during the SEMA show. While at Nitto’s booth, you can participate in some of Nitto’s latest digital marketing efforts, including liking their Facebook page for a chance to win great prizes throughout the year. You can also follow along at Nitto’s mobile site m.nittotire.com.

RacingJunk.com, the world’s largest online motorsports classifieds, will be exhibiting at the PRI show December 10 – 12, 2009.
A group of eight industry businesses have teamed up with RacingJunk.com to provide a slew of giveaway goodies to many of the expected 40,000 attendees at PRI. Four thousand limited edition RacingJunk.com t-shirts, custom designed exclusively for the PRI show and featuring the eight sponsors’ logos on the back, will be given away at the RacingJunk.com booth (#1169) during the show. To encourage show visitors to swap out whatever they’re wearing for their new t-shirt on the spot, a prize patrol will roam the tradeshow floor and award prizes to randomly selected individuals wearing the new RacingJunk.com PRI t-shirts.
“We’re expecting to create a virtual sea of our bright red RacingJunk t-shirts throughout the aisles at PRI,” said Robert Adams, Vice President Sales. “Our name, as well as our eight sponsors’ names and logos, are going to be out there making a high-visibility statement that RacingJunk.com and the businesses who support it are the heart and soul of grass roots racing.”
In addition to the 4,000 free t-shirts, Team RacingJunk will also be giving away 10,000 full-color 2010 wall calendars featuring photos of — and signed by — the always-popular and much admired Santa’s helpers who traditionally lend a hand at the RacingJunk.com PRI booth every year. The lovely ladies, who are always a strong draw to the RacingJunk.com booth, can now be admired all year long by way of this custom designed calendar, which also includes the logos of the eight sponsoring partners.
Finally, the eight RacingJunk.com PRI sponsorship partners will also be featured as part of the custom wrap design on the Snap-on roll cab that will be on display at the RacingJunk.com booth and given away as the final prize in the RacingJunk.com 2009 Giveaway, sponsored by Snap-on.
