Author: In a warm summer afternoon a truck smashed through a highway’s median guard rail and disastrously collided with the oncoming vehicles on the opposite roadway. As result, seven people died charred: Both trucks’ drivers, two people in the 1st car (a mercedes) and three people in the 2nd car, a BMW 530 tailgating the 1st car. The occupants of the yellow van were not injured and a few seconds later they got out of their van. The bmw’s tail was still looking good for spare parts! Not the same for the Mercedes, which was found melted under one of the trucks… Further investigations established that the cause of this fatal accident may have been a mechanical failure on the truck’s front left suspension. Every year hundreds of over the road and even local Truck Drivers lose their life to an accident while driving. Many of these accidents are caused by motorists who just were not paying attention. In many cases it is discovered that the Truck Driver gave his/her own life to avoid killing a family in a car. PLEASE give way to large trucks. It takes approximately 10 times the stopping distance (on flat dry ground) to stop a big truck as it does your car. Please watch this video and be careful …
