Good job Mike! Very educational and informative. Please be safe and keep up the good work.

  • oarcrazy2802:

This is cool to watch not alot of people understand the lives of truckers!

    Keep em comming like this!

  • mikeyssmail:

Great Feedback Thanks. There’s a lot more to just driving truck as you probably already know. The paperwork aspect for many of the older generation has become rediculous.

  • mikeyssmail:

Yeah It’s Funny you mention that. Most people think we just sit up high and congest traffic all day long. They have no idea that thinking power, organization, and scheduling play a huge factor in this job. Thanks for your comment. I appreciated it. :)

  • bigdaddyseanjohn:

hey mikey im a fellow trucker who has trouble with log books can you help me understand them your fellow trucker nyc.godbless

  • mikeyssmail:

Honestly… I don’t really know anyone that knows the rules completely. Changes so frequently and the rules are subject to whom you are speaking too!

  • nikose34:

heh steve..i don’t know about you but i am too handsome to do paperwork :P paperwork sucks

  • AceTrucker79:

they did not hire you to break the law. you are not required nor can you be required to break the law. it’s drivers like you who give the rest of us a bad name. you can not be fired for following FEDERAL law.

  • Drew99GT:

HAAAAAAAAAAAAA! 99% of companies will fire your ass on the spot for refusing a load and not running legal.
Then they smear your DAC. Then it’s up to you to fight it.

    It’s fuckin bullshit.

  • lmbatible:

Your Company should have hired a personal secretary for you to take on tha road… Thats just too much, Most Companys do that, they’ll set up a mini office for her in your cabin with a bunk as well!

  • vincetheroaddog:

hell no they will not pay the tickett still there is A lil bitchin

  • bmibmi2114:

  • mlke4258:

No white out allowed in log books….

  • wiseguylt4:

No sir, it is allowed as long as its not excessive.

  • wiseguylt4:

Great video, every good driver always doubles checks his/her paperwork to make sure its at 100%. I notice a lot of comments from hobby truckers and steering wheel holders. People the laws are not that bad if you know how to play the game. Great job driver!

  • demontrkr:

Man I feel you there. Im dedicated at the moment and hit 26 stops a week every week since april. The paperwork kills. However dont depend on your company to pay the bills if you get caught. I got caught without a permit one time the company admitted fault over the phone and said they pay it. Called back two weeks later and they flat out denied saying they would even help much less pay the fine. If they want you to run that you you need to get it documented so they WILL cover it.

  • Mr007jessejames:

I would get a recorder if they ask you to drive illegally again,it’s your job in jeopardy if you get into an accident or kill someone.

  • pankey39:

thank god my company does computer logs now less worries i know some drivers hater it but hey they cant force u to do something u know good and well u can’t do legal
