Yo estaba operando de manera segura y prudente y control total del mi camión. El otro conductor sabía que el carril de paso era de 3 kilómetros y decidieron romper la ley y poner su vida y la vida de su compañero de dormir en jepardy, así como mi vida y la vida del conductor recogida.

Las personas que consulte con sus ojos cerrados y hacen comentarios desde esa posición obtener tratamiento como los tontos que son. Si va a apoyar un desinformado posición esperamos que sea tratada de la misma.
Excelent you were reducing the speed, however, You can not express about dleonmag. A truck driver is a professional of road. Had experience, flexibility, friendly, etc.
this is exactly why i quit driving. the guy passing on the double yellow was probably cussing out the author for ??? who knows what the driver was thinking. the new breed driver has run me off the road in a similar way, finally off the road for good. am i skeerd? darn right. ill stay on the porch if new breeds cant do any better than that. bravo for slowing your truck, you probably saved that four wheelers life. be careful out there.
If people want to comment on my actions without first reading what I have said then yes, I will “express”. If people want to ignore the actions of the passing driver and find fault in my actions only then yes, I will “express”.
Thanks for the good words. It amazes me how some folks can turn the other way when it comes to the actions of the passing driver. It is sad day when a good driver hangs up his/her keys. The loss affects the industry in ways that regular people do not understand. Enjoy the your career, you worked for it.

@noriceburners passing in Ontario on a double solid yellow is completely legal, dumb, absolutely, but the yellow line is recommendation only, also you dont know what else was happening, are there 2 or more trucks tailgating? there is a rule about minumum legal following distance for a reason, but most ignore it, they seem scared to get lost.
chowder48, passing in Ontario on a double solid line is NOT LEGAL. This is a standard across Canada as well as in the US. It is just most people traveling in Ontario are in too much of a hurry to observe the rules of the road and/or think that the rules do not apply to them.
Sure is legal to pass in ONT. On a double yellow, I live here, and I even called and asked the O.P.P… but you can’t be left of center on a curve.. according to the hiway traffic act, the yellow line is recommendation only..
Then why bother painting any lines on the road at all? Why would it be any different in Ontario than in the rest of Canada? Does the HTA specifically say “No Passing on a double solid line”? No it does not. It is a common sense thing that is taught to all drivers when going for their license. You also misinterpreted Sec 149(left of center on a curve). You cause an accident or become involved in an accident because you passed on double solid lines and how much does your insurance go up?

u must be super ignorant to actually go online and say wat u did and to further feed the stigma that ontario drivers are bad, let me know when ur driving so i can walk

that is pretty shitty deal for the passing driver to do, even if it is legal or w/e to pass on yellow. he is one of the reasons all semi drivers get bad names…how would he have liked that happen to him? or if maybe he was in that little truck that went onto the shoulder? such a bad driver.

the driver passing is an idiot I admit if the one being overtaken would have slowed down then moved onto the paved shoulder to help out the safety of the roadway I would have been proud but another newbie doesn’t help out…..been out here since 91 still a newbie some days .hope to learn everything I can everyday . just try to be safe and show people what we can do to help.
Now thats the right thing to do!! i mean instead of taping he should of done the right thing at least!
Just see people tell everyone else they are wrong all the time …..break the cycle help out the situation with a new alternitive.
The shoulder is not paved.
I was slowing down so that the driver could complete the pass. I did not jump on the brakes because of the load shift that would have occured as I had made drops previous to the incident. So I was able to maintain control and keep my unit straight while taking a video at the same time, get over it.
