k this is terrace and omg olny some of the drivers are that dumb most of them arent……but there are a couple real idiots that cant drive and thats really all you notice but people from terrace drive fine!
I don’t agree, most are poor drivers. When you are old enough to drive you may see that.
Sit at this intersection for 20 min at 3-4 pm and watch. Tell me how many drivers stopped at the stop sign heading north.
I’d say show this video to the police dept. and get somebody to keep a closer eye on the intersection, but your video seemed to show how much a couple of them pay attention…
this is normal. Hell I’m still working on my drivers license, and people hunk at me when I come to a complete stop at a stop sign. Course on occasion I’ve seen people cross 4 lanes of traffic turning left at a busy intersection. Once snow sets in, 80% of the BC drivers can’t drive. Rainy weather 60% can’t drive, optimal weather I’d say 35% can’t drive.
Part of the issue is the current sentencing involving vehicles are terrible. Charged with driving in the HoV lane that kills 2 kids and injures 2 other people, no vehicular manslaughter.
Personally I think any accident where you are more then 50% at fault that results in a death is vehicular manslaughter. Driving under the influence results in suspension of license of 5 years and seizure of your vehicles.
Hey there. I grew up in Kitwanga, moved away before I got my driver’s licence. Have you thought about submitting a video to the RCMP? They might think to keep a closer eye on atleast that one intersection. File a complaint….what’s going on is crap. Atleast your children will be better drivers. lol.
Totally understand what youre tryin to say with this video. Exact same probs here in Rupert. In 2 days driving to work on the same road I was nearly hit by 5 different people who decided to run the stop signs at 2 different intersections. One lady was about half a foot from hitting my car. I made her open the back passenger door so she could see she would have hit exactly where my son was sitting. People should think twice about their bad driving habits.

I was just outside for a smoke 5 min ago listening to the 3rd person this week fly down Eby doing about 80 mph. I phoned the police and went back outside to the corner thinking, he/she might drive back this way? I get to the corner and look down the street to see him recked on the sidewalk. Almost hit a house if the trees fence or pole was not there. I go to the car and the guy’s already 4 blocks down the road. I had a peek inside, it looked like it might have been stolen.

I hear people flooring it around town almost everytime I go outside for a smoke. I am making a remote control spike strip soon. I am going to set it for 80 on Eby and see how many get it.
I have a solution, replace the stop signs with yield signs.

it has been all most two year since you have put a video on there you must have alot more fottage, and that white p/u at the end of your vidoe i think i seen it to day doing dough-nuts in the mall parking lot and also in that big lot on accore from pollys cafe they have good food there lol iike the soup.
