I thought this was a truck stop; it appears to be a rest stop! I’m not a trucker yet but if I were I don’t I would want to have to walk pass all the families w/ my dirty draws and walk up the stairs w/ my laundry. What do I know.

my dad brought me back one of those t-shirts back to canada when he stopped there for the night, a few years ago. He used to always stop there and pick up gifts for everyone. Of course this place is just one of the many places he liked, he did regular runs down there all over the usa.

he wants to “constipate” on what he’s doing.

  • KYLEMORICE:

DID YOU GET THE HILTON BACK ON THE ROAD?

  • HighwayHank1:

Hi Kyle. No I haven’t. I’m stilling for the finanacing of sponsorship. I even wrote Trick My Truck and met with them, but never got an answer.
Thanks for asking. You don’t know how much I miss being on the road with my Highway Hilton.

This is a bittersweet video to me, because while you got to go back, it wasn’t with the Hilton. Hopefully the Hilton will sit in one of the many Iowa 80 parking spots again, and will maybe even appear in the show again. God bless and best of luck to the legendary Highway Hank Good!

  • HighwayHank1:

I too wish that my Highway Hilton were at this show and also on the road, but as STUCK UP the American truck fleets are against older trucks and older TRUCKERS, I doubt it.

  • woodencoasterfan:

I can imagine the Highway Hilton will be sitting for a while. Especially with most of the big truck stop chains now going exclusively with USLD fuel.
