Yeah, lets just haul around a truck all over the country and let people who have no training and no cdl drive a truck on the highway to see what it’s like. Brilliant idea, fuck stick.

  • bigtorquehemi:

this training is intended for those who need training. It gives u an idea of different situations and how to manange them. My company had one of these mobile training units come to a safety meeting….very cool.

  • castingsinkers:

but if you get in a major crash in a real truck you get injured while on a simulator, your whole truck can blow up and you could restart it.

  • SaGiTaUrlaN:

Thats is pretty cool. I think it would be nice if they turned it into a video game to play at the truckstops, but of course it would probably cost $5.00 to play for 3 minutes… I wonder how realistic it is. looked like the steer tire blow out was’nt all that bad to handel, I imaging a real tire blowout on the steer would be much harder.

  • bmxreviewer:

    iwheels rules

  • David19J91:

that’s an awesome piece of machinery

  • laxandsteffen:

    hehe

  • girondi1:

    thats amazing technology right there.

  • MannenQ:

Now that is how you should learn to drive trucks, not just sitting and doing dumb tests on a paper, let them do the test via the simulator :D

  • heysteve:

wow if they had a version made as a racing simulator i would live in it.

  • hondarider100r:

wish i had this at my house

  • lillecool93:

what is this for red buttom

  • Manongjojo:

Actually there is a Nascar Simulator in Las Vegas. If you want one I hope you have the half million dollars to buy one. LOL

  • EuMoto:

    good game :)

  • WATCHER353:

Shure would like to give this a try. See how it compares to the real thing.

  • dodge342006:

Would really like to download this simulator to my computer, but sadly none of the real simulators company ever think of releasing their product to the public, they don’t care at all that we could have plenty of fun with this.

  • damosCRF450R:

  • clipdan:

pretty GD badass! Thanks for sharing!

  • shaithis45:

@MannenQ, the simulators are NOT the real thing. That is not how I learned. Day 1, I was on the test range doing actual maneuvers in the truck. The simulator is bullshit and just not realistic and also an excuse for driving schools to overcharge for a license which should cost $1,250 to obtain via schooling or less.

  • MannenQ:

@shaithis45 Why do you reply on 1 month old comment?

  • shaithis45:

@MannenQ, does length of time really matter? You commented, and I made a counter comment because I actually have my Class A and I’m well familiar with the way some schools can overcharge a person for getting their CDL. If one wants to learn how to drive, allow them behind the wheel on day 1 to get a feel for the truck and so on but don’t wedge a simiulator in between the driver and the actual truck. In my opinion a school with a sim. is just an excuse to charge more $.

  • MannenQ:

@shaithis45 Well, congratulations, but sadly you dident answer the quastion and I dont got the energy to start talking about a old comment I maked.

  • shaithis45:

@MannenQ, I just made a comment regarding the comment you left. Doesn’t matter if it is a month of a year old. If you don’t feel like debating on the issue regarding the truck driving simulator then don’t feel as you have to respond back to me.

  • shaithis45:

@SaGiTaUrlaN, actually they have created a game on trucking. It is called 18 wheeler. Not as near the trucking simiulators the schools use but close enough and cost of game completion varies on whether or not you can keep the truck on the road and hit all your checkponts.

  • TerrenceIII:

ive been in a sim its pretty real but its much more touchy than the real thing so if u can make good shigts in the sim then when u get inn a truck ull be golden, its realy only good for freshening up like say if ur not used to mountians then it can help u practice uphill shifting
